Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!
My journey with Petals and Perks began in May 2009 when I joined the team as a part-time associate while attending NWC and pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I realized how much I loved the work and the people at Petals and Perks, so in May 2013 I decided to make it my full-time career.
As I stepped into more responsibilities at the shop and later married my husband, Forrestal, in 2019, we began dreaming about what the future could look like. In January 2021, we officially purchased the business — and the rest is history!
Business ownership was never something I imagined for myself, but it has been such a fun and unexpected journey. Looking back, I can clearly see how God orchestrated each step to bring us where we are today.
Forrestal and I live in Sioux Center with our four dogs — Lily, Drax, Eva, and Toby — who keep life entertaining and full of joy. Outside of the shop, I enjoy spending time with friends, thrifting and antiquing, baking, decorating our home, and, of course, sipping on tea from 712 Nutrition.
We feel incredibly blessed to be part of such an amazing community and look forward to serving Sioux Center for many years to come through floral design, home décor, coffee, and creating small moments of joy for others.
